Cybersecurity

One of the primary goals of the Vehicle Systems & Control Laboratory is to establish trust in unmanned air, space, and ground vehicles. Autonomous systems which are subject to cyber-attack or intrusion cannot be trusted to perform their tasks reliably and safely. Thus, it is the mission of VSCL to investigate cybersecurity risks for autonomous vehicles and develop methods to defend these systems from malicious cyber-attacks.
