Seth Johnson, a member of VSCL since Spring 2022, graduated in May 2026 with his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. He is beginning his Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with the lab. Throughout his time at VSCL, Seth has worked on various projects, including GNSS-Denied Data Collection, Modular Open System Approach for Low Cost Intergrated Avionics (MOSALINA), Versatile Infrastructure for the Deployment of Autonomous Systems (VIDAS), Robust Threat Detection, and Fixed Wing System Identification. He has interned with VectorNav Technologies in the summers of 2022 and 2026, participated in the Undergraduate Summer Research – REU Program in the summer of 2023, and interned with Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in the summer of 2025, where he worked with the Real-Time Planning and Autonomy team. He previously served on the Texas A&M SAE Aero Design Team‘s Advanced Class Autonomous Systems team. His focus spans autonomous systems, software architecture, and integrated flight systems, with an emphasis on the real-world deployment of multi-agent systems. His work includes avionics software development, system integration, and flight-test-driven research supporting both academic and applied autonomy efforts.
