Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Sadie Binz

Sadie Binz is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the Sigma Gamma Tau Aerospace Engineering Honor Society and the SAE Aero Design Team, and she interned at Bell Helicopter. Through these experiences, Sadie developed an interest in flight testing and hopes to obtain her private pilot’s license in the future.
Sadie previously conducted undergraduate research in system identification and, more recently, worked on attitude waypoint guidance for a spacecraft using Reinforcement Learning within a hierarchical control architecture during an internship with the Air Force Research Laboratory. She is excited to continue her research with VSCL while pursuing a Ph.D.
